Sydney symphony orchestra celebrates 75yrs with new performances of works by Bach
Music in Australia has endured a long and storied history.
But it is also now the target of criticism and mockery.
But as the concert, which celebrated 75 years of the orchestra in March last year, was about to go ahead at the Opera House, Australia’s major concert hall was shut down by heavy rain.
The shutdown was caused by flooding in the city centre and its surrounding regions.
The opera went ahead as planned, but the performance of the symphony itself was cancelled, as was the performance of the National Opera’s annual우리카지노 Christmas production, the A-list musical The Bells of Saint John.
